Every time your site meet down time it will notify your via email (Free method) and then you can check it fix it as soon as possible. In the internet world, I think the email method and SMS method is the same, so that the email method is good enough for us :).

    2. Uptimerobot.com

The next one in our list, we have to take a look is Uptimerobot with totally free service and nice features too. In general, they design the system only to monitor website down time and no more than that. But still, I think we shouldn’t request more than that from pure free service with a nice UI.

In my part, I think it ‘s pretty good so far, but if you are in the first step in uptime monitor, I highly recommend you choose the first or the second service first. If they work well for you then you don’t have to pay.

As always, this service only take you not more than 2 minutes to sign up and add new website to monitor

Well, not sure how to say about pingdom, with me it ‘s very good with full features like Monitor.us, but I still don’t know what case to use pingdom in paid service since we have a lot of more free service with the same quality. Or maybe some very good feature from pingdom I didn’t realize. It ‘s for you to discover.
